Paralegal – Workers’ Compensation / Personal Injury

We are working with a well-established Baltimore-area law firm seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its busy Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with strong case management experience who enjoys working closely with attorneys, clients, medical providers, insurance representatives, and courts.
Responsibilities
- Manage Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury matters from intake through settlement, hearings, and/or trial preparation.
- Gather and organize medical records, evidence, and other case-related documentation.
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, filings, discovery, and hearing or trial materials.
- Communicate professionally with clients, insurance carriers, medical providers, attorneys, and court personnel.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and ensure deadlines are met.
- Prepare correspondence and other legal documents as needed.
- Provide administrative and case management support to attorneys throughout the life of each matter.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of paralegal experience preferred, particularly within Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury, or Litigation.
- Strong understanding of Workers’ Compensation claims and case processes.
- Experience managing cases from intake through resolution.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are strongly preferred.
- Experience with case management software such as Filevine is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows, and Adobe.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced legal environment.
