LHH Recruitment in partnership with a company in the DMV area is seeking a part time paralegal. This is a 20 hour a week work commitment. The candidate can work in a remote capacity as long as the candidate sits in the DMV area.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Bluebook citation formatting and legal fact checking to support the review and production of publications and briefs
- Assist with citation review ranging from a 14 page brief to a 50 page research paper
- Assist with verifying citations, footnotes and endnotes for accurate support of the legal and factual assertions of text
- Provide detailed feedback to authors and editors regarding citation issues
- Any other duties required of the role
Requirements
- Must have extensive experience with the 22nd Edition of the Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation
- Must have heavy experience performing citation checks
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Must have strong research and writing skills
