A well-established commercial law firm is seeking an Estate Planning Paralegal with experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on a variety of estate matters while joining a team that values attention to detail, initiative, and long-term development.
The Opportunity
- Compensation: $65K–$85K + performance-based bonus
- Location: Downtown Chicago
- Schedule: Hybrid, 3–4 days remote per week
- Experience: 3+ years in estate planning, probate, and trust administration
- Billable Requirement: 100–120 hours per month
- Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), profit sharing after one year, and long-term disability coverage
What You’ll Do
- Assist with estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters.
- Prepare and organize estate planning documents and related legal filings.
- Coordinate documentation, deadlines, and ongoing matter administration.
- Support attorneys in managing client matters efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain organized files and ensure attention to detail across all assignments.
- Help prioritize competing deadlines and keep matters progressing smoothly.
What They’re Looking For
- At least three years of experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritize deadlines and manage multiple matters independently.
- A proactive, resourceful approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with WealthCounsel is preferred but not required.
