ParalegalAids multiple Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSA).Examining, preparing and processing a variety of technical legal documents, e.g., complaints, motions, orders, answers, pleadings, and subpoenas.Providing assistance to attorneys in trial preparation.Assembling trial documents, affidavits, discovery in various formats, and other non-legal documents.Assembling and organizing files and records materials for disposition or transfer to records depository.Maintaining calendar of assigned active cases.Tracking filing, hearing, and trial dates, and scheduling conferences and interviews.Arranging travel by preparing itinerary and securing transportation and hotel reservations.Producing a variety of written documents and materials using a wide range of office software applications.Required:Must be able to obtain and maintain MRPT facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for MRPT facility credentials/authorization at this work location.Requires paralegal certificate, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school, having completed at least one year of study.One year of legal training or legal experience or at least two years of college education may be substituted for the paralegal certificate. Additionally, at least one year of litigation paralegal experience or project experience (as related to the task order) is required; trial experience very helpful.Automated litigation support experience valued.Must have basic legal knowledge, must have sufficient experience with legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw to perform basic legal research.Requires excellent written and oral communication skills, thorough knowledge and hands-on familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, databases (such as document review and file management systems), spreadsheets, imaging, and hardware systems.Role also requires basic familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources.Ability to consistently deliver highest quality work under extreme pressure will be very important.Compensation Details: $24.49Benefits Overview:Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysRetirement benefits (including 401(k) matching)Educational reimbursementParental leaveEmployee stock purchase planTax-saving optionsDisability and life insurancePet insuranceAmentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
