ParalegalAs Paralegal, you will provide critical legal support to Belkin's legal department, assisting with a wide range of corporate, commercial, and compliance matters. This role will help manage legal documentation, conduct research, and support the legal team in protecting Belkin's interests while enabling business growth in the consumer electronics industry.Specific responsibilities include:Contract Management: Draft, review, and maintain various commercial agreements including NDAs, vendor agreements, and licensing agreementsCorporate Governance: Assist with maintaining corporate records, preparing board materials, and supporting corporate compliance initiativesIntellectual Property: Help manage Belkin's IP portfolio including trademarks, patents, and copyrights; assist with IP filings and maintenance; assist with brand protection activities.Regulatory Compliance: Support compliance with relevant regulations in the consumer electronics industryLegal Research: Conduct legal research on various issues affecting the company's operations and productsLitigation Support: Assist with document collection, review, and production for litigation and disputesDue Diligence: Support due diligence activities for potential business transactionsRecords Management: Maintain organized legal files and documentation systemsAdministrative Support: Coordinate with outside counsel, manage legal department calendar, and handle other administrative tasksEducation and Experience Requirements:At least 1 year of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in an in-house or commercial law environmentStrong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentationExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.High proficiency in frequently used software programs (MS Office suite) and familiarity with simple database and file management.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the technology or consumer electronics industryKnowledge of intellectual property managementFamiliarity with international business operationsUnderstanding of corporate governance practicesExperience with e-discovery and litigation support toolsKnowledge of sustainability regulations and reportingWhat you're getting into:We've got big collaborative spaces for your big ideas, so bring an open mind and leave your suit in the closet.
