Paralegal PositionQuintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., a multi-office national firm, is currently seeking a highly skilled paralegal with 4+ years of experience to join our Dallas office. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.This position is ideal for a paralegal with a strong background in civil defense litigation. The successful candidate will assist attorneys with managing complex cases from inception through resolution, ensuring deadlines are met and files are meticulously maintained. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.Primary ResponsibilitiesSupport attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case development, discovery, and trial preparationDraft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, motions, and summariesOrganize and analyze documentation, including accident reports, medical records, insurance materials, and expert reportsManage case calendars, track court deadlines, and maintain attorney schedulesConduct legal and factual research related to liability and damagesCommunicate directly with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counselPrepare exhibits, witness files, and other materials for depositions, mediations, and trialAssist with court filings, including Texas State and Federal E-Filing proceduresMaintain organized case files in both electronic and physical formatsAssist with billing and time entry as neededQualifications5+ years of paralegal experience in civil litigationStrong understanding of litigation procedure, court rules, and case management in TexasExcellent writing, editing, and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management softwareAbility to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines under pressureHigh level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential informationParalegal Certificate or degree in Legal Studies preferredWorking Conditions This position is based in an office environment and may require occasional lifting of case files and supplies up to 20 lbs.
