Location: Washington, DC/Baltimore Area | Full-Time | On-Site
Compensation: $65,000 – $85,000 annually

Our client is a fast-paced, client-focused criminal defense firm representing individuals across Maryland in DUI/DWI, traffic, and serious felony criminal matters. We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Criminal Paralegal to support attorneys in a high-volume criminal defense practice.
What You’ll Do
- Draft motions, pleadings, and legal correspondence
- Manage case files from intake through resolution
- Coordinate court filings and track deadlines
- Review and organize discovery (police reports, video, evidence)
- Communicate with clients, courts, and prosecutors
- Support trial and hearing preparation
What You Bring
- 3+ years of criminal paralegal or legal assistant experience
- Strong organization and ability to manage multiple cases
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; case management software a plus
- E-filing experience
- Familiarity with Maryland courts is preferred
