Key Qualifications
- Prior experience providing support to attorneys, preferably in Social Security Disability cases
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency with computers and legal software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to managing high-priority tasks with urgency
Responsibilities
- Draft legal documents and correspondence
- Review and analyze medical records
- Follow up with medical facilities to obtain records for hearings
- Organize and submit pre- and post-hearing materials
- Assist attorneys in case preparation before court dates
- Communicate with clients regarding sensitive matters
- Coordinate hearing schedules and interact with judges
