Job TitlePay Rate: 52.88/hr. Bill Rate: 79.32/hr. Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm.

Location: Brea, CA.Job DescriptionEssential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Support commercial sales and service with respect to legal review of customer terms, bid tender submissions, HIPAA Business Associate Agreements, and customer disputesSupport commercial sales and services with legal review of government contract terms and conditionsDraft commercial sales and services agreements with customers, including revisions to customer terms and conditionsDraft commercial sales and services agreements with group purchasing organizations and integrated delivery networksTrain commercial sales and service on "battle of the forms" process, term interpretation and drafting agreementsDraft standard agreements (e.g., confidential disclosure, material transfer, evaluation, and professional services agreements)Engage with external customers and their legal representatives regarding contract termsProvide guidance as requiredPerform legal research as requiredMaintain library of forms and resourcesOwner of the paralegal request SharePoint site to ensure turn around targets are met.Responsible to drive for improvements in paralegal process SharePoint and identify opportunities that impact turn around times and impact to revenueDevelop written procedures, work flow plans or other systems for practice areas as requiredProfessionally and diplomatically resolve issues regarding customer concerns and other matters as necessaryApply innovative problem solving skills and judgment to assist in managing corporate riskIdentify best practices to influence continuous improvement in the organizationQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:Familiar with anti-kickback, HIPAA, and medical device industryAbility to work closely with business units, as necessary, while maintaining independent judgment and decision-making skillsAbility to apply analytical skills to interpret data and use independent judgment and discretion in developing solutions to address a variety of issues regarding contracts and related problems of moderate scope and complexityAbility to quickly acquire knowledge of new business activities or issuesAbility to adjust to changing job requirements and priorities in order to meet dynamic needs and workflowAbility to work in a team-oriented environment and meet tight deadlinesDemonstrated ability to work with outside counsel and to interact with senior managementMust demonstrate a high degree of organizational skills and professionalismStrong presentation and written and verbal communication skills; strong project management skills
