Paralegal (2–4 Years Experience)

Compensation: $56,000 – $62,000 per year, based on experience


Location: This is an in-office role at our Bayshore office, 500 W. Silver Spring Dr., Glendale, WI. Candidates should live within a reasonable commute of Glendale.


About Us

Hildebrand Law Firm is a boutique estate planning and elder law firm that has served families across Southeast Wisconsin since 2001. We’re a team of about 15. Our attorneys work closely with staff, and paralegals do real legal work.


The Role

We’re looking for a paralegal with 2–4 years of experience who wants to keep building their skills. You’ll work directly with an estate planning attorney to:

  • Draft estate planning documents, including wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney and health care directives
  • Handle client intake calls, gather client information and prepare files for attorney review
  • Manage the attorney’s calendar, client meetings and deadlines
  • Coordinate the firm’s estate planning workshops, including scheduling, logistics and attendee follow-up
  • Support the attorney’s litigation matters, mainly client communication, court filings and tracking deadlines
  • Assist with trust funding, document signings and other matters as needed


What You Bring

  • 2–4 years of paralegal experience, ideally in estate planning, trusts or probate
  • A paralegal certificate or degree (ABA-approved programs preferred) OR equivalent experience
  • Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
  • Comfort speaking with clients and families by phone and in person
  • Organization: you keep calendars, deadlines and files on track
  • Curiosity and a desire to keep learning
