This full-time position supports students with a wide range of learning needs, providing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assistance both in and out of the classroom. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to helping students succeed, work collaboratively with teachers and specialists, and foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. This role requires a high degree of patience, empathy, and the ability to follow instructional and behavioral plans as directed by certified staff. Candidates should be comfortable supporting students individually and in small groups, adapting to changing student needs, and maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Putnam High School offers a strong, collaborative culture of caring educators who leverage resources to nurture and challenge our students. Putnam facilitates strong district-wide alignment and support across all three schools in the district to ensure the student's educational experience prepares them for the real world.

RATE OF PAY: $20.36 - $22.50 per hour * based on contractual requirements

POSITION: Paraeducator
- Full Time: 35 hours per week
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (Required)
- ParaPro Test or equivalent of 2 year's college credits - 60 credits
- Experience working in a school system preferred
