CPR and First Aid Certification
Must have a high school diploma or its recognized equivalent; and earned an associate's degree; or completed two years of college (48 units); or met a "rigorous standard of quality" under a "formal" academic assessment of their knowledge and instructional liability in reading, writing and math. One year of general clerical experience or some work involving contact with children, preferably including knowledge of the subject matter taught in the classroom.
