- Skills Paras: $ /hr
- SPED Paras: $ /hr
- EL Paras: $ /hr
- Title I Paras: $ /hr
- Office Paras: $ /hr
- Technology Paras: $ /hr
What You'll Do
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and student learning
- Provide one-on-one and small group support
- Help students with academic, behavioral and social-emotional needs
- Prepare instructional materials and learning centers
- Supervise students during assemblies, drills, recess and field trips
- Maintain records and assist with classroom paperwork
- Support students with physical needs, including restroom assistance when necessary
- Work closely with teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff and parents
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- A caring attitude and willingness to support students with diverse needs
Schedule & Benefits
- 9-month positions
- Typical hours are 8:00 AM-4:00 PM (may vary)
- Summers off
- Weekends and school holidays off
