Paraeducator
Location: Catherine Kolnaski Magnet Elementary School
Qualifications: Possess one of the following: Completed two years of college credit (60 credits total); or Hold an associate's (or higher) degree; or Passed the ParaPro/ParaPathways Assessment within 90 days of start date
Additional Qualifications: Ability to work with children with multiple needs; Capacity to implement lessons written by the Special Education Teacher; Ability to work cooperatively with Administration, Regular Education Teachers, other assigned Staff, and Parents; Flexible, dependable, and responsive to new ideas and direction
Start Date: August 31, 2026
Hourly Rate: $17.94 per hour Wages in accordance with the CBA for the Groton Paraeducators Chapter CSEA/SEIU Local 2001
