Paraeducator Position

Join a dedicated team serving grades 7-12 students in a County Office Community School setting. Our small classes and secure campus allow staff to build meaningful connections while providing academic assistance and behavior supports to expelled, SARB, and probation-referred youth. Requirements / Qualifications

1. High School diploma or the equivalent and; 2. 48 college units 3. A.A. degree or higher 4. Pass a local assessment of knowledge (Paraprofessional Exam)

***You MUST have one of the following documents attached to your application or you will not be interviewed***: • Copy of Transcript (Unofficial is acceptable) or Passing results of Paraprofessional Exam • Proof of High School graduation or equivalent • Resume • Letter(s) of recommendation (Minimum of 2 Letters)

If you do not meet the minimum qualifications but would like to take a paraeducator exam, you can register for our paraeducator test here. All applicants must complete an online application through EDJOIN and required documents must be attached to the EDJOIN application (do not email, mail, or fax). If you have problems with EDJOIN, please contact the EDJOIN help desk at during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. YCOE employees must apply through EDJOIN using a password-protected, Current Employee Application.
