Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience or strong interest in working with children in an academic setting
- Demonstrated ability to provide support to students with varied learning needs

- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and other support professionals
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in education or special education is a plus
- Assist classroom teachers with instructional support, classroom management, and activities
- Provide direct support to students individually or in small groups, reinforcing lessons and classroom routines
- Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under teacher direction
- Support students with behavioral, emotional, or physical needs to encourage participation and engagement
- Supervise students in various settings, including classrooms, lunchrooms, and playgrounds
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and activities as directed
- Foster a nurturing and respectful atmosphere contributing to each child's social and academic growth
