Multiple openings are available for dedicated paraprofessionals across elementary, middle, and high school sites. Specialized programs include BRIDGES, serving students with significant learning needs, and STRIVE, focusing on life skills. You'll play a critical role in helping students achieve their fullest potential within inclusive and specialized educational settings.
Qualifications:

• Active Delaware Paraeducator Permit required (pending or in-process applications cannot be accepted)
• Experience supporting students with complex learning, behavioral, or communication needs is highly desirable
• Comfortable commuting to selected site(s) and working with diverse student caseloads
• Willingness to pay for required $85 CBC fingerprinting (must confirm agreement before placement)
• Candidates holding an RBT credential must arrange their own BCBA supervision outside school hours; the district classifies these positions as Paraprofessional only

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct classroom support to students and teachers, adapting instruction to diverse learning needs
• Deliver targeted assistance within general education, BRIDGES, or STRIVE programs as assigned
• Facilitate effective communication and engagement for students with Autism, cognitive challenges, or life skills goals
• Assist with classroom organization, supervision, and activities of daily living as needed
• Foster a positive, respectful, and encouraging classroom atmosphere
