Key Qualifications:
- Valid Educational Technician II or III certification is required
- Experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting is highly preferred
- Adept at supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development
- Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to adapt to classroom needs
- Understanding of life skill-based education and individualized student support
- Assist students with life skill-based curriculum activities in K-5 classrooms
- Work under the guidance of classroom teachers to provide individualized or small-group support
- Help manage classroom behavior, foster independence, and encourage positive interactions among students
- Collaborate with team members to implement educational and behavioral interventions
- Maintain detailed records and communicate observations to teaching staff as needed
- Steady contract from August 2026 through June 2027
- Full-time hours (32 per week), providing work-life stability
