Paraeducator Requirements: High School diploma or its equivalent and proof of NCLB (No Child Left Behind) Compliance. NCLB compliance requires you to hold one of the following: 1. Possess an Associate of Arts/Science Degree 2. Complete 48 semester units of college units 3. Pass the Shasta County Paraprofessional Exam Yard Duty Requirements: 1. High School diploma (NCLB is not required for this position.)
Evidence of NCLB compliance must be attached to application. Acceptable documents are: 1. Copy a AA Degree 2. Unofficial transcripts showing a minimum of 48 semester units, or 3. A copy of your Paraprofessional Certificate It is the applicant's responsibility to submit completed application and required documentation.
