Job Description
Must have an AA Degree or successfully passed the Shasta County Instructional Aide Proficiency Test, which meets the NCLB requirements, at the 70th percentile or above in each area: Reading, Language, Math. Ability to pass a physical exam, clear TB test and background fingerprint check.
Physical Demands of the Job: Lift up to 50 lbs., i.e. toileting. Move students for safety and/or transition times. Must sit, kneel, squat, crawl for extended periods of time throughout the day, and move quickly to address student behavior.
