Panel Shop TechnicianWe are looking to add a Panel Shop Technician (also known as a Panel Wirer, Control Panel Builder, or Electrical Assembler) who works with the DVL Power Systems and Engineering team and is responsible for the construction, wiring and testing of switchgear and control panels. This Technician safely constructs control panels in the Bristol, PA Panel Shop with neat and high-quality wiring work.Come work for a nationally certified Great Place To Work Company since 2018!What You Would Be DoingAccurately constructs control panels in the panel shopCorrectly inventories parts receivedAccurately updates project BOM and white boardCorrectly scans inventoried package list and emails to coordinators and engineersWiring work performed is neat, looks like quality and resembles high quality OEM constructionMaintains good communication pertaining to projects with managementMaintains a sufficient level of understanding the NECWorks in a safe manner, knowledgeable of and follows industry standard safety practices including knowledge of OSHA UL508A and NFPA 70E guidelines and requirementsMaintains an acceptable personal driving record relative to points, accidents and safe driving habits within the company vehiclesProfessionally interfaces with company coworkers, site end users, contractors, engineers, etc.Fills out company paperwork and other documentation timely and accuratelyMinimum Requirements To ApplyOne-year certificate from a college or trade schoolAble to read schematics and implement into wiringSome related Power Service experience including constructing control panels and field wiring modifications preferredPanel shop wiring experience preferredSafety training or OSHA 10 preferredExcellent customer service skills and experienceProficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word, and ExcelValid driver's license to drive to Bristol, PA office daily and eventually to various customer sitesAvailable to perform scheduled on-call & overtime dutiesCompetencies You Should HaveSafetyProduct ExpertiseQualityTechnical SkillsCommunicationCustomer ServiceThe pay range is $19.00/hr. - $21.70/hr.
