Panel Wireman / Electrical Panel AssemblerYou will read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, install a wide range of control components, perform point-to-point wiring, and ensure that all panels meet strict quality and safety standards before shipment. You will work closely with engineering and production teams to complete projects accurately and on schedule while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.Assemble and wire industrial electrical control panels according to electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and engineering drawings.Install electrical components including relays, contactors, circuit breakers, PLCs, terminals, transformers, power supplies, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).Perform point-to-point wiring and cable routing within control panels and electrical enclosures, ensuring neat, accurate, and reliable connections.Verify proper wiring, component placement, and assembly details using schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials (BOMs).Conduct panel testing, troubleshooting, and quality inspections prior to shipment to confirm proper operation and compliance with specifications.Identify and correct wiring, assembly, or integration issues to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.Assist with machine wiring and electrical integration on packaging equipment and conveyor systems as needed.Perform electrical installation and assembly tasks for low-voltage and control systems used in industrial automation and machinery manufacturing.Use hand tools, power tools, wire crimpers, and testing equipment such as multimeters safely and effectively during assembly and wiring work.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to clarify design details, resolve technical issues, and ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following electrical safety practices and applicable standards.Support production goals by meeting deadlines, maintaining high workmanship quality, and contributing to continuous improvement in panel building and machine assembly.This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clifton, NJ.The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
