Panel Saw Operator / Cabinet BuilderHours: Monday through Thursday. 7am-3:30pm. Potential Fridays.Position SummaryThe Panel Saw Operator / Cabinet Builder is responsible for accurately cutting plywood and sheet goods using a panel saw and assisting with the assembly and construction of custom cabinetry.

This role requires experience working with woodworking equipment, attention to detail, and the ability to safely operate an older-style panel saw in a production environment.Essential FunctionsOperate a panel saw to cut plywood, particle board, MDF, and other sheet materials according to specifications.Measure, mark, and verify dimensions to ensure accurate cuts and minimize material waste.Load, position, and handle large wood sheets safely throughout the cutting process.Assist with cabinet assembly, including fitting, fastening, and finishing components.Read and follow cut lists, work orders, drawings, and production instructions.Maintain proper organization of materials and finished components.Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of the panel saw and work area.Inspect materials and finished parts for quality and accuracy.Support other cabinet shop and production activities as needed.Follow all company safety procedures and woodworking equipment guidelines.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExperience operating a panel saw or similar woodworking equipment.Ability to accurately measure and cut wood materials using tape measures and measuring devices.Knowledge of basic cabinet construction and woodworking practices.Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.Ability to work efficiently in a production environment.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift, carry, and maneuver plywood sheets and cabinet components.Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.Ability to safely handle large and awkward materials.Ability to work in a manufacturing or cabinet shop environment with exposure to dust and noise.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience in cabinet manufacturing, woodworking, millwork, or furniture production preferred.Experience operating older manual or semi-manual panel saw equipment is highly desirable.Familiarity with cabinet hardware, assembly techniques, and shop tools is a plus.This position is ideal for an experienced woodworking professional who is comfortable operating a panel saw, takes pride in accurate cutting and craftsmanship, and enjoys contributing to the production of high-quality custom cabinets.Ways to ApplyFor an immediate AI Recruiter phone interview, please call To schedule a live phone interview, please call 717-718-HIRE (4473)Apply online at: may be emailed to: by our York office: 2210 E.
