Palliative Medicine Staff Physician - Akron, Ohio

Full‑time clinical staff position at the Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center in Akron. Join an established, thriving palliative care team as an integrated partner within the oncology team in an ambulatory setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient specialty palliative care in the oncology clinic as part of an interprofessional team including nursing, social work, and physician colleagues.
• Engage in medical education and professional development opportunities, including teaching oncology fellows, medicine and surgical residents, and medical students.
• Participate in research and quality improvement projects related to palliative and supportive care.
• Assist in the training and mentorship of trainees through the Cleveland Clinic’s competitive fellowship program.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Palliative Medicine.
• Board Eligible in Hospice care.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Ohio.
• Strong clinical skills and interest in interprofessional collaboration and communication.

Benefits and Compensation

The salary range for this full‑time position is $210,000 to $272,500. Compensation is determined by fair market value and takes into account professional experience, expertise, board certification, and other factors. Benefits include comprehensive healthcare, dental, vision, retirement, and other offerings in addition to the stated salary range.
