Work involves the following: Knowledge of surface peculiarities and types of paint required for different applications; preparing surface for painting by removing old finish or by placing putty or filler in nail holes and interstices; and applying paint with spray gun or brush.Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years' experience as a painter, acquired through training and / or experience under a formal apprenticeship or equivalent.Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent work experience.Purpose of Classification: To provide painting services for the English Village Shop in accordance with the Dugway Proving Ground PWS.Duties & Responsibilities:Works with minimal supervision and guidanceRespond to and accomplish exterior house painting within the allowable time frameParticipation in Quality Control and Safety ProgramsAdherence to Lead Abatement programPerform daily checks on company provide equipment and vehiclesClean equipmentPerform other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor.Special Knowledge / Skills Required:Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenanceAbility to read, write and receive written and/or verbal instructions in EnglishMust have excellent verbal communication skills for interfacing with military and civilian customersMust possess valid State Driver's LicenseDPG Services JV LLP is an equal opportunity employer.
