Industrial Coatings Specialist

Essential Responsibilities: Posses the ability to apply various industrial coatings per work instructions and DVQRs. Experience with copper shielding and its properties, water-soluble coatings, solvent based coating, texturing and paint additives. Ability to maintain paint guns and related equipment. Understanding of in-line, proportional paint mixing systems. Complete and maintain all required paperwork. Ability to use and understand Mack Molding's ISO policies and procedures. Follow all safety rules and regulations. Knowledge of health and environmental regulations relative to paints and industrial coatings. Maintain Mack's standard of housekeeping in all areas. Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications/License/Education/Required Experience: High School Diploma, GED, High School Equivalency Certificate, Vocational/Technical Training, Professional Certifications, Military Service, Skills Based Requirements or Relevant Work Experience. Above average verbal, written and math skills.

Unusual Working Conditions: Exposure to temperatures of between 50F to 110F. Exposure in-plant to temperatures between 50F and 110F and plant odors from plastic and paint processing.

Unusual Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as required (when necessary). Ability to bend, walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to work a 12-hour shift schedule when necessary. Normal schedule is 6a-4p Mon-Thurs but will work overtime days.
