Great opportunities.Second Shift - 3:00pm - 11:30pmIf you'd like the chance to make your mark with the world's largest equipment rental provider, come build your future with United Rentals!As a Painter at United Rentals, you will be responsible for the preparation of various surfaces and the application of paints, enamels, stains, shellac, and varnishes or other finishes on equipment.What you'll do:1:1 with Lead Painter regarding their daily prioritiesConfirm correct paint colors for each unitBleed out air compressor to assure there is no moistureClean and inspect paint gunInspect prepped units for qualityApply pre-cleaner with Tack Rag to clean surfaceSuit up (Head cover, Paint suit, Respirator, Gloves, etc.)Apply primer to any exposed metal and apply base coatConduct final inspection of all units to ensure the job was completed accuratelyTool maintenance: clean/flush paint guns, collect all tools and put them backInspect work area to assure that the booth is left the same before the paint processOther duties assigned as neededRequirements:High School diploma or equivalent0- 2 years of experienceOccasional working at heights above 10 feetAbility to wear a respirator and/or hearing protection as requiredAbility to bend, kneel and work with arms raised for prolonged period of timeThis position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and proceduresWhy join us?We don't just "talk the talk!"
