Industrial Painter Job Summary:
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is partnering with a well-regarded client in Romulus, Michigan, a leader in Modular Home Manufacturing, who is looking for an experienced (3-5 years) Industrial Painter.

• Pay: $20-21/hour, based on experience
• 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 7am-5:30pm, with occasional overtime as needed.

Essential Functions/Job Responsibilities:?

• Collaborates with employees concerning work orders, prints, and sketches to understand the structure that needs to be built or repaired.?

• Estimates equipment, tool, and material requirements for each job.?

• Operates all necessary tools to complete a job.?

• Prepares and dismantles scaffolding as needed.?

• Ensures tools and equipment are properly cleaned, stored, and maintained for optimum performance and safety.?

• Uses various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects.?

• Joins materials with the most appropriate nail, screw, staple, or adhesive.?

• Ensures the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels, surveying equipment, or framing squares; corrects problems as needed.?

• Adheres to local building and safety codes and guidelines.?

• Measures, marks, and arranges materials to established layout based on blueprints or instructions from supervisors.?

• Regular and predictable attendance within.

• Other duties as assigned by Management.?

Painter?Qualifications:?

• Education: High School Diploma or related field preferred.?

• Experience: Three years' experience in the building trades field, previous experience working with diverse populations preferred. Previous background in production a plus.?

• Certificates & Licenses: None.?

• Ability to understand directions and read blueprints.?

• Ability to solve mathematical problems quickly and accurately.?

• Ability to properly care for and use tools of the trade.?

• Ability to read, write and use micrometers, calipers, tape measures and other related measurement equipment required.?

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.?

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.?

• Thorough understanding of carpentry principles and methods.?

• Works well as part of a team.?
