Powder Coating PainterThis role focuses on supporting the powder coating area by working closely with a team member to prepare and load parts onto the coating line. You will contribute to high-quality industrial painting and coating work while maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-conscious environment.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the powder coating area by preparing and organizing parts for coating.Work directly with a team member to load parts onto the powder coating line safely and efficiently.Perform powder coat painting and coating tasks according to established procedures and quality standards.Read and interpret basic blueprints or work instructions to ensure correct coating specifications.Carry out paint preparation activities such as cleaning, masking, and surface preparation before coating.Operate and work within a paint booth, following all safety and cleanliness requirements.Use hand tools and related equipment to handle, hang, and remove parts from the line.Inspect coated parts for quality, consistency, and proper coverage, and report any defects or issues.Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient production and safety.Follow all workplace safety guidelines and procedures while working with industrial coatings and equipment.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of experience performing powder coating in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Hands-on experience with powder coat painting processes and techniques.Ability to read and follow basic blueprints or work instructions.Experience working in a paint booth and handling paint prep tasks.Comfort using hand tools in a production or industrial setting.Attention to detail to ensure high-quality coating and finishing.Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong math skills to support measurements, counts, and basic calculations.Experience with industrial painting or paint prep beyond powder coating.Familiarity with coating, painting, and paint booth operations in a manufacturing setting.Strong work ethic and reliability with consistent attendance.Willingness to learn and grow into additional responsibilities over time.Why Work Here?You will join a clean, organized, and family-oriented workplace that values internal growth and long-term careers. You will work in an industrial setting that includes a powder coating area, paint booth, and use of hand tools, with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and teamwork.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richfield, WI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
