Job Overview

The purpose of this position is to paint parts; frames, counterweights, rims, etc. to Komatsu specifications.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Paints all surfaces of hydraulic excavators, wheel loaders, backhoes, or any other manufactured products.
• Cleans, masks, mixes paint, sprays and decals equipment or manufactured products according specifications.
• Operates man lifts and overhead cranes safely in order to accomplish painting objectives.
• Inspects paint work and related work of others and reports any defects or discrepancies to supervision immediately.
• Works as a team member and co-operates with co-workers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one (1) year experience in spray paint booth environment required. Forklift certification preferred. Must be able to use a variety of hand tools, power tools etc. Must comply with all environmental, quality and safety rules, practices and standards. Some standing, kneeling, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing and lifting required. Associate may be required to work overtime as required to meet schedule.
