Now Hiring: Industrial Painter
Location: Kentwood, MI
Pay: $17-21/ hr, depending on experience
Are you an experienced painter looking for a hands-on role in a manufacturing environment? We're seeking a detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our team. If you have experience working in a paint booth and take pride in delivering high-quality finishes, we'd love to hear from you! What You'll Do:
* Inspect products before painting to ensure quality standards will be met
* Apply wet-coat paint finishes in a paint booth environment
* Prepare products for painting, including washing and surface preparation
* Mix paints accurately according to specifications
* Perform quality checks, including adhesion testing and finish inspection
* Maintain paint equipment, booth cleanliness, and department organization
* Follow all safety procedures and housekeeping standards
* Help identify and troubleshoot paint application issues
What We're Looking For:
* 1+ year of paint booth experience preferred
* Experience painting aluminum products is highly preferred (non-robotic/non-production line painting)
* Knowledge of Sherwin-Williams paint systems or similar coating systems is a plus
* Understanding of color management and paint mixing processes
* Ability to use testing equipment and understand paint quality standards
* Basic computer skills
* High School Diploma or GED
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement
