Responsibilities:
• Mask, apply paint with spray guns, syringes and silk screens to various products.
• Understand how various cleaners, primers and paints react to each other to create quality finishes.
• Have proficient knowledge of MIL-SPEC paints such as lacquers, enamels, epoxies, urethanes and their applications.
• Understand and follow waste disposal requirements.
• Have the ability to diagnose various paint problems such as solvent pops, fade out, orange peel, etc.
• Assemble various products per routings, drawings and company procedures.
• Must be willing to cross-train and flex time in assembly areas as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one year paint experience (industrial or automotive) OR a graduate from a technical school with an Industrial/Automotive Paint certification.
• No relocation is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside with the immediate geographical area of 50 miles will be considered.
• All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
