Painter Helper - 1st Shift

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday
Job Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated Industrial Painter / Paint Prep Technician to join a busy metal manufacturing and finishing department. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for someone interested in warehouse production, industrial painting, auto body detailing, or metal finishing. Training is provided!
Schedule

• Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and prepare metal parts for painting
• Paint metal components according to job specifications
• Assist with surface preparation and minor detailing
• Inspect finished parts for quality
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Support other production duties as needed
• Follow instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards

Requirements

• Entry-level candidates are welcome
• Self-motivated and able to follow directions
• Comfortable working in a hot production environment near industrial ovens
• Able to wear long sleeves throughout the entire shift
• Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail
• Warehouse, painting, finishing, metalworking, or auto body experience is helpful but not required

Important: This is a fragrance-free workplace. Cologne, scented body wash, lotions, and scented creams cannot be worn because fragrances may interfere with the paint-finishing process.
