StarCare Specialty Health System (StarCare) is seeking a full time Maintenance Specialist/Painter to join its outstanding Plant Operations team that supports StarCare's numerous facilities.
Responsibilities:

StarCare Specialty Health System (StarCare) is seeking a full time Maintenance Specialist/Painter to join its outstanding Plant Operations team that supports StarCare's numerous facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Safely performs skills of the painting field including: methods, practices, materials, surface preparation, and proper mixing and matching of all types of paints, varnishes, shellacs, lacquers, wood stains and other finishes.
- Communicate information to supervisor and other employees;
- complete all required documentation;
- assist the supervisor or other Center Staff with special projects or assignments;
- support building security and fill in providing support to the Plant Operations functions throughout StarCare Specialty Health System;
- share on-call duties on rotating basis with other Maintenance employees;
- Travel to all Center locations or other citywide sites, using a Center vehicle and/or personal vehicle, is required.

Qualifications:
- High School Education or equivalent,
- plus three (3) years' experience in designated trade (painting/ finishing)
- Working knowledge of operation and safe use of all power and hand tools/equipment common to the painting field is necessary.
- Knowledge and skill in operating standard office equipment (phone, fax, copier, etc.) and personal computer with Microsoft Office products is required.
- Must pass a pre-hire drug screen and criminal background check.
- Must have a Texas driver's license, liability auto insurance, and be insurable under the Agency's insurance.
