1st Shift PainterLand Pride, a Division of Great Plains Mfg, currently has an opening for a 1st Shift Painter in our Lucas Facility. The hours for this position are Monday-Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
(overtime on Fridays as required).Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Load paint lines safely to its maximum capacity per the Daily Production Requirements listLearn all aspects of prepping unfinished parts for final topcoatDownload painted parts safely & ensure correct part identification and delivery to correct location to maintain inventory accuracyInspecting painted parts at the unload station for any quality defectsAppropriately packing painted parts to ensure arrival to customer in good conditionVersatile employee able to learn all aspects of Paint line duties, Load, Prep, Unload, Material Handling & PaintingOther duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environmentPreferred Skills and Qualifications:Previous paint experience helpful, but not requiredAbility to lift, carry and position parts weighing up to 50 lbs.Forklift license and experience handling large parts is helpfulGood written and oral communication skillsFamiliarity with AS400 is helpfulAbility to follow inventory control proceduresAbility to excel in a fast-paced environmentAt Great Plains Manufacturing, our people make the difference, making our Company a great place to work and grow.
