Med Ninjas is seeking a Physician for long term locum coverage at an inpatient/outpatient facility located in Davis Medical Center.
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from 12/07/2026 to Ongoing
This assignment includes outpatient pain clinic, hospital-based procedures, fluoroscopically guided spinal injections, and no on call or weekend.

Locum Physician Pain Management in Elkins, WV

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Start Date: 12/07/2026
End Date: Ongoing
Position Details: Pain Management coverage for 2-3 weeks per month
Patient Population: Adults, approximately 30-80 years old
Setting: Pain Clinic / Private Practice / Hospital
Responsibilities: Pain management consultations and procedures, spinal injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations, and ultrasound-guided procedures
Required Procedures: Fluoroscopically guided spinal injections, epidural steroid injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablations, joint injections, SI joint injections, facet injections, trigger-point injections, peripheral nerve blocks, and ultrasound-guided procedures
EMR System: NextGen
Support Staff: 2 RNs and a radiology technician for procedures
Days Per Month: 2-3 weeks per month
On-Call/Weekends: No call

• Fluoroscopically guided cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spinal injections
• Medial branch blocks and radiofrequency ablations
• Joint, SI joint, facet, and trigger-point injections
• Ultrasound-guided injections and procedures; intrathecal pump experience preferred

• Board Certified in Pain Management or qualifying board certification with an accredited pain fellowship
• Active state license; IMLC or providers eligible for a temporary West Virginia license accepted
• DEA required
• Minimum 5 years of experience
