Paid Search Manager | Energy
This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our Fort Mill, SC headquarters (Monday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Fridays each week.
This role is not open to visa sponsorship or transfer of visa sponsorship including those on H1-B, F-1, OPT, STEM-OPT, or TN visa, nor is it available to work corp-to-corp.
Are you passionate about paid search and scaling businesses through performance-driven marketing? We're looking for analytical, innovative paid media talent to help us grow our Energy business by optimizing paid search accounts for one of the largest energy brands in Texas. You'll focus on launching new campaigns, optimizing performance to drive growth, and communicating the performance story directly to our partners.
What You'll Do
- Own and optimize paid search campaigns to drive customer acquisition and retention at scale.
- Launch new campaigns and initiatives aligned with partner goals, testing new strategies to improve reach, efficiency, and ROI.
- Continuously analyze performance data, providing actionable recommendations to improve campaign efficiency and profitability.
- Translate complex performance data into clear, compelling insights that tell the performance story to both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Leverage analytical tools such as SQL, LLMs, Hightouch, and Python to monitor, understand, and optimize paid search tracking, attribution, and incrementality.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, analytics, and customer experience teams to optimize the end-to-end user journey—from click to conversion.
- Maintain best-in-class paid search practices, staying current on trends, innovations, and competitive dynamics in the energy and PPC landscapes.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 2–5 years of data-driven marketing experience, with a focus on paid search (SEM) and performance optimization.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical background with advanced SQL skills; comfortable working with complex datasets to uncover insights and optimize campaigns.
- Industry Interest: Passion for the energy industry and understanding of customer acquisition dynamics within regulated or competitive markets.
- Technical Skills: Experience using data pipelines and analytics tools (e.g., Hightouch, Python) to analyze and enhance campaign performance.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to distill complex performance data into simple, compelling narratives for partners and leadership teams.
- Self-Starter: Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment, proactively identifying opportunities and driving measurable results.
- Leadership Potential: Experience mentoring junior talent or desire to grow into a leadership role as the Energy paid media team expands.
Compensation:
This range reflects total cash compensation, which may include base salary only or base salary plus target bonus, depending on the role. Where eligible, equity may also be offered separately and not included below. Actual compensation varies based on location, experience, and qualifications.
- Total Cash Compensation Range: $100,000 - 130,000 per year
