- Sweeping out stalls and following up with washing down the stalls with a hose.
- Hanging silks in preparation of evening races.
- Ensuring all stalls are neat and orderly at end of shift.
- Understand and practice Family Style Service at all times with all guest and team members.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions.
- Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment to perform maintenance functions.
- Answer all calls promptly and maintain politeness; pay attention to the needs of employees and guests at all times.
- Knowledge of OSHA required standards and safety requirements.
- Knowledge of personal protective equipment.
- Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude.
- Complete knowledge of all facilities and entertainment available to guest.
- Work area consists of all facilities on property.
- Able to work around horses and confined areas.
- Exposed to hot and cold temperatures.
- Varied weather conditions, fumes, and chemicals used in maintenance.
- High School Graduate
