Job Description
Day Shift 12 hours/day 3 days/week
Title: Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia
Duration:14 weeks
Location: 1000 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Atlanta, Georgia, 30342
Schedule: Days Shift, 12*3 36hours/week
Unit: PACU – Ground Floor
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–10:30 PM
Local Candidates: Not accepted within 50 miles
Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience
Certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS & NIHSS required
EMR: Cerner experience required
Unit Coverage: Open 24/7; holiday coverage provided through call
Case Experience: Thoracic, Orthopedic, Neurology, Vascular, Urology & General Surgery
Patient Acuity: Higher-acuity cases
Unit Structure: Overseen by Charge Nurse and Supervisor
Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 of 3 major holidays :
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
New Year’s Day
Minor Holiday: Must work 1 :
Friday after Thanksgiving
Christmas Eve
New Year’s Eve
