Supporting critical medical imaging systems, the remote IT PACS Administrator will manage the administration, maintenance, and optimization of PACS and imaging applications while collaborating with various teams to ensure secure access and seamless workflows. Key responsibilities Administer and maintain Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and related healthcare technology platforms Collaborate with Radiology, Cardiology, IT teams, and vendors to ensure optimal system performance and secure access to patient imaging records Support troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts to enhance operational efficiency and diagnostic accuracy Required qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience supporting PACS, imaging informatics, healthcare IT, or radiology systems Experience with major PACS vendors and supporting DICOM, HL7, and healthcare integrations Knowledge of healthcare IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and HIPAA requirements Strong technical expertise in imaging systems and collaborative communication skills
