Warehouse Packer
Location: Joliet, IL 60436
Pay Rate: $19.00/hr
Shift: Weekend
Position Summary: We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented warehouse packers to join our client's team in Joliet, IL. This role focuses on packing orders for e-commerce clients. Accuracy and speed are important in this fast-paced warehouse environment. Must be comfortable using a scanner/PDA and basic computer systems.
Job Duties:
- Pack products accurately based on order requirements
- Use a scanner or PDA to confirm items and quantities
- Pack items into boxes, totes, or pallets for shipment
- Label and prepare orders for outbound shipping
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
- Follow warehouse rules and work instructions
- Report missing or damaged items to a lead or supervisor
- Help with other warehouse tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Warehouse or packing experience preferred
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk most of the shift
- Basic reading, writing, and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Open to overtime or flexible hours during peak season
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required
