Job Title: Packer/Stackers – 1st Shift 6am-6:30pm Weekday shift Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Location: Kings Mountain, NC Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour Schedule: Rotating 12-Hour Day Shift
Week 1: Monday – Thursday
Week 2: Monday – Wednesday
Hours: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and motivated Packers to join a growing manufacturing team in Kings Mountain, NC. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential for permanent employment. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment while ensuring products are packaged accurately and meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack finished products according to company specifications and quality standards
- Inspect products for defects before packaging
- Sort and prepare products for shipment
- Maintain accurate production counts and documentation
- Ensure products are packaged safely to prevent damage during shipping
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
- Perform additional production duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand and work for 12-hour shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work with Steeled toed shoes
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, packaging, or production experience preferred, but not required
- Experience meeting production quotas and quality standards
- High school diploma or GED preferred
