Read below for more information!What You’ll Do as a Packaging/Shipper:Package finished products according to sales orders, including pallets, boxes, and cratesRead and interpret sales orders to ensure correct product handling and shippingLoad and unload trailers, including dry vans and flatbedsOperate packaging equipment such as pallet wrappers and scalesUse forklifts and electric pallet jacks to move materials safelyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping areaPerform quality checks to ensure products meet shipping and customer standardsWhat You Need to Bring to the Packaging/Shipper Role:High school diploma or equivalentAbility to lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shiftAbility to stand, bend, reach, and move for an 8-hour shiftAbility to read and follow work instructions and SOPs in EnglishBasic computer skills for data entry and inventory trackingForklift and electric pallet jack experience preferred, or willingness to become certifiedAbility to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screenCommitment to wearing required PPE (eye, hand, foot, and hearing protection)Entry-level candidates welcome; warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.Why You’ll Like Working with Doherty Staffing SolutionsEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability.
