PackerKelly Services is seeking a reliable Packer for a contract-to-hire opportunity with our client in Frankfort, IL. This role offers the possibility for direct hire after 3-6 months, depending on your performance and attendance.Available Shift & Pay: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm $15.50/hr.Key Responsibilities:Perform manual duties including lifting, packaging, taping, labeling, and sortingPackage products to meet company efficiency standards for quantity and qualityMove and stack products using a hand cart and pallet jackOperate packaging room machinery—start up, change over, and shut down as requiredPre-assemble components for packagingBreak down cardboard for recyclingNotify supervisor of any conditions needing machine maintenanceMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient work areaFollow the 6S production plan: Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and SafetyAssist other departments with job-related duties as assignedRequirements:Able to stand for extended periodsAble to lift, move, and stack up to 50 poundsComfortable with repetitive motions and frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, twisting, and pullingAble to work in a variety of conditions, including extreme heat, humidity, and coldProficient in reading, writing, and understanding instructions in EnglishStrong communication skills with co-workers at all levelsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environmentBasic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, divisionCapable of maintaining production standards and assisting other departments as neededPerks & Benefits: Job stability with potential for permanent hire Comprehensive training, support, and room for growth Work for a company that values its employees
