Wolfgang Confectioners currently has an opening for the General Production/Packer role at our Camp Hill, PA Facility.
Job Description and Duties:
This role is designed to produce and pack quality confections. This role will work on various candy making and packaging equipment and follow specific detailed instructions provided by the company.

• Visually inspects product to assure compliance with quality standards and appearance.
• Prepares necessary packaging supplies to keep lines running efficiently.
• Place products into respective packaging according to specification.
• Palletize finished product according to procedure and specification.
• Use pallet jack to move finished product to staging area.
• Follows all Wolfgang Food Safety, Quality, GMP and Sanitation policies and programs to assure product quality.
• Complies with company and OSHA safety polices.
• Cleans work area and machines at end the of shift or other designated time.
• Makes necessary machine adjustments according to specifications.
• Completes paperwork accurately, timely, and clearly. Includes but not limited to tote tags, Production Tally sheet, Lot Tracking Sheet, Packaging Verification Sheet, and Cleaning Checklist.
• Assists co-workers with duties and works as a team for ultimate efficiency.
• Refers all work-related problems including food safety and quality concerns to lead person/supervisor/manager.

Person Protective Equipment required:

• Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment
• Smock
• Hair net
• Hearing Protection when required
• Gloves when required

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Must demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality of information to Company and Federal standards.
• Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and be able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
• Must be dependable and work within Company conduct standards; consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or Equivalent is desired.
• Fundamental knowledge to follow directions.
• Production/Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the documents
• Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints.
