Packer (2nd Shift)

Position: Packer (2nd Shift)
Pay: Competitive - $17.50
Shift: Monday-Thursday | 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM
Location: Countryside, IL

Responsibilities:

• Stage and verify materials for packaging based on production work orders
• Package products into cartons, including taping, labeling, and adding components (sprayers, literature, etc.)
• Stack cartons following standard pallet patterns
• Apply barcodes to completed pallets for handling and wrapping
• Inspect products for quality: fill levels, label accuracy, print codes, caps, and carton integrity
• Assist with line setup and adjustments: installing labels, adjusting placement, and aligning conveyors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety, health, and production standards
• Properly use equipment; report maintenance needs

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1-3 months of related experience or similar training
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs consistently
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and following instructions
