Prior assembly, manufacturing, or production training is a plus.Experience RequirementsMinimum two years of manufacturing or production experience preferred, including work under production goals and timed work orders. Ability to accurately read and interpret work orders, including part numbers, lot numbers, packaging quantities, labels, and customer-specific instructions.
Experience safely using basic hand tools, power tools, fixtures, or production equipment. Basic computer and math skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to inspect completed work for quality. Effective English communication skills, dependable attendance, and a team-oriented, safety-first attitude.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand and work in a clean, climate-controlled production environment for six to eight hours per shift, with a mix of standing and sitting tasks. Ability to lift, carry, bend, reach, and twist to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift. Manual dexterity for frequent, repetitive hand movements while handling small parts and operating manual and automated packaging equipment. Ability to safely operate production equipment while wearing required personal protective equipment, including long pants and provided gloves and ear plugs.Job DutiesComplete packaging work orders and package small industrial fasteners into bags, boxes, and kits according to customer specifications. Count parts using electronic counting scales, operate manual and automated bagging, sealing, and heat-sealing equipment, and perform assortment kit assembly. Maintain inventory accuracy, record completed quantities, consolidate inventory as needed, and keep work areas clean and organized. Follow all safety procedures and monthly safety meetings, stop production immediately for incorrect materials, non-conforming product, or quality concerns, and suggest improvements to safety, productivity, or quality.BenefitsCompetitive weekly pay.
