Packaging OperatorWe are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Packaging Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a chemical manufacturing or production environment and be comfortable working with hazardous chemicals while operating packaging and processing equipment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely package chemical products into totes, drums, and pails following established procedures.Repack and relabel chemical products as needed.Operate automated control systems and manual process/packaging equipment.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve basic equipment issues.Perform light maintenance and prepare equipment for maintenance activities.Complete production documentation and record batch information in SAP.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through daily housekeeping.Follow all environmental, health, and safety regulations.Respond to emergency situations within training and qualification limits.Work overtime and rotating shifts as required.Perform other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.3+ years of experience in a chemical production or manufacturing environment.Experience operating forklifts.Comfortable working with flammable and hazardous chemicals.Basic computer skills.Ability to perform basic math calculations.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.Experience using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, and scrapers.Excellent mechanical aptitude.Valid Driver's License.Preferred QualificationsExperience with SAP.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 55 lbs.Ability to climb stairs and ladders.Ability to connect hoses and operate manual valves.Must be able to wear FRC (Flame-Resistant Clothing) and a full-face respirator (clean-shaven requirement applies).Ability to pass an ARK2 Physical with Spirometry.Pre-Employment RequirementsBackground CheckDrug ScreeningPhysical Examination (ARK2 with Spirometry)
