My client is a leading beauty and skincare brand.
Job Description
Lead the technical packaging lab and manage at least 1 direct report. Collaborate with Quality team to problem solve and troubleshoot when deviations occur in production. Conduct packaging component testing to validate new launch items. Work as liaison between the Packaging Team in NY and the R&D/Quality Team in NJ. Develop and maintain a professional knowledge of new or emerging trends within the packaging discipline. Collaborate with Packaging on the creation of packaging component and finished good testing protocols to be utilized for internal testing and exported to external suppliers.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in a Technical field. 10+ years lab experience in packaging component testing, ideally in Beauty and/or CPG environment. Ability and willingness to learn new technical areas leveraging internal and external resources. Strong organizational and communication skills.
