The Packaging Associate performs repetitive work station operations in the Packaging Department.This position is designed and intended to be performed in New Sharon, IA.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Train production workers to perform their required duties. This includes running the equipment and following KCBA Core ProceduresAssists and covers for the Packaging Operator in his absenceMaintain GMP`sPackage the quantity of cases and/or bags as required by the scheduleMaintain all documents such as pre-op checklist, pack sheets, metal detectors, lot numbers, etc.Review daily production requirements with the Production Supervisor and or Plant ManagerPackage products in a clean environment, at the specified weights, and with the correct and legible lot number as per Core ProceduresRefer to set-up sheets for production requirementsMake sure that all packaging materials used film, boxes, valve bags, pallets etc.
